SE Asia Post - Vietnam

Nha Trang on the coast of Vietnam is very beautiful and we enjoyed our visit to this ancient capitol city from the French Indochina period. The ship docked near a hill that has five villas that were formerly used as a summer palace by the last king of Vietnam during the late 1950's. In a surprise move, the village leaders crowned our Tom as a new King of Nha Trang and you'll enjoy seeing photos of this ceremony below. However Tom was exiled a few hours later when our ship disembarked and he was disappointed his title as King won't be recognized outside Vietnam - thank goodness, haha!! Other photos include ancient temples that are hundreds of years old and the factory where linen embroidery is highlighted as well as other crafts. We enjoyed this port and would gladly return - Tom, especially, since he hopes they'll remember his Reign.
