Australia Post

The most fascinating thing about Australia is the animals that are native to this land.  From kangaroos to wallabies to Tasmanian Devils and dingos to all kinds of birds and reptiles, we enjoyed feeding them and photographing them all over the place.  Our ports after Sydney included Hobart, Tasmania (an island State off the southern coast of Australia) to Adelaide, then Kangaroo Island (the only stop where we didn't see any kangaroos, haha)  and Albany and finally, Fremantle and then Perth on the coast of Western Australia, our last stop before departing for Bali, Indonesia.  

Everywhere we have gone on this cruise the weather was just right, the scenery was so beautiful and the people so very friendly.  We have sailed 51 days so far and reached the western coast of Australia and we couldn't have wished for better weather.  However there are two cyclones (we call them hurricanes in the Northern Hemisphere) just north of Australia and they might cause us some problems?  But the Captain says he has a plan to avoid most of the bad weather and since we've had nothing but "fair winds and calm seas" this far around the world, we are trusting - and hoping - he is right, haha!  We get reports on CNN about the bad weather in many parts of the US and we hope all our friends are safe and sound!  Best wishes for now and we'll post again in a few days.
